Types and Flavor

In reference to our supplier information, most Ethiopian coffee types are identified by their distinct and characteristic flavor, aroma or taste, which make it unique. Owning such unique qualities, the Ethiopian coffee is commonly used for blending coffee of other origin. As the result, some of the Ethiopian type coffee is marketed in specialty markets, branded through their own names, always commanding a premium price.

Our Company has made decision to import the following five types coffee from Ethiopia, to satisfy our customer needs:

YIRGACHEFFE

  • Washed and Natural
  • Altitude: 1770-2200m
  • Cup: Bright acidity, medium body marked by jasmine and lemon flavor
  • Harvest: October to January
  • Shipment: November to September

Sidamo

  • Washed and Natural
  • Altitude: 1550-2200m
  • Cup: Bright acidity, medium body with spicy and citrus flavors
  • Harvest: October to January
  • Shipment: October to September

Limu

  • Washed and Natural
  • Altitude: 1400-2100m
  • Cup: A well balanced cup, medium acidity and body with distinct winy flavor
  • Harvest: October to January
  • Shipment: October to September

GUGI

  • Natural
  • Altitude: 1400-2100m
  • Cup: A well balanced cup, medium acidity, and body with distinct winey flavor
  • Harvest: November to January
  • Shipment: December to September

Harar

  • Natural
  • Altitude: 1510-2300m
  • Cup: Medium to light acidity, full body, and strong mocha flavor with blueberry notes
  • Harvest: October to February
  • Shipment: February to September

We would like to let our customer know that each coffee type has variation in price. In general, it is known that the coffee market price fluctuates frequently. Therefore, we will humbly disclose the price of each type coffee to interested customers when requested.
